This privacy policy explains how Helly Hansen Australia Pty Ltd (33 169 813 638 ("Helly Hansen", "we", "us", "our") collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information when you visit hellyhansen.com.au, shop with us online or in our stores, sign up to our emails, or otherwise deal with us.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What personal information we collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It may include:
• Contact and identity details, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses.
• Account details, such as your login details and, if you sign in with a social account, the name, email and profile details that service shares with us.
• Order and transaction details, such as products purchased, order value, returns, gift card purchases and recipient details, and payment confirmation. Card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
• Marketing details, such as your email subscription status, preferences, and how you interact with our emails.
• Reviews and enquiries, such as product reviews, competition entries, customer service messages and stockist enquiries.
• Technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, cookie and device identifiers, pages viewed, products viewed, searches, items added to your cart, and how you arrived at our website.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information). Please do not include sensitive information in reviews or messages to us.
How we collect personal information
• Directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, sign up to our emails, write a review, enter a competition, or contact us.
• Automatically, through cookies, pixels and similar technologies when you use our website (see section 5).
• From third parties, such as social networks when you choose to sign in with them, payment providers, delivery partners, advertising and affiliate partners, and other companies in the Helly Hansen group.

Direct marketing

Our website is not directed at children. Customers under 18 should use our website with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
