Measure around the fullest part, across chest points, keeping the tape horizontal.
WAIST
Measure around the narrowest part (typically the small of your back and where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.

Measure around the fullest part of your hips keeping the tape horizontal.
CENTRE BACK SLEEVE
Measure straight from centre back neck to shoulder point, and from shoulder point to wrist with the arm in a relaxed position.

Great Jacket! A Hood is a Good Thing.
"Softshell jackets are ideal for travel; they're less bulky and do a better job of shielding from rain than some of the micro-puffy jackets on the market. That's the reason I bought this jacket. In the past I have had softshells but they have lacked a hood, which in the rain goes from being a nice-to-have to a mandatory feature; the Paramount's hood does an excellent job of keeping the rain at bay when using the vidor at the front of the hood and the drawstrings to tighten the hood. The jacket itself is warm enough for crisp or cool weather, its not a winter jacket, and is subtle enough that it can be easily worn in a city environment. I think it's pretty much the Goldilocks of travel jackets. Of course, none of this matters if it doesn't fit! I am 6'2" and weigh 175lbs, I have a slim athletic build. I typically wear a 40L in sport coats/suits and my everyday shirts are typically size Large with a slim fit. Looking at the sizing chart, I surprised myself and ordered a Medium. I'm glad that I did! It fits perfectly in the arms and the body, a Large would have been too big so my advice is that you follow the sizing suggestions. Overall this is a really great lightweight softshell, it sheds rain, has light fleece for a bit of warmth and a full coverage hood for when a drizzle becomes a downpour. Yes, I recommend it!"
